wait, what do you do?

Nudge and Cradle provides parent coaching, birthwork support, and consultation in order for families, caregivers, parents, and parents to be so they feel comfortable interacting with and guiding their young children, from pregnancy to birth to parenting. We work on a variety of questions or challenges, and provide individualized services based on your concerns and priorities.

do you have a list of services? other places have lists…

We hesitate to use a list because we know that each family and child is unique, and has their own areas of strength and needs. However, we know people like lists, so here is a non-comprehensive look at some of the areas we cover:

  • Pre-natal visits

  • Birth support

  • Post-partum support

  • Special needs parenting

  • Anxiety and Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health

  • Parenting supports, including family self care and new baby parenting

  • Communication, social, and cognitive strategies

  • Strategies for children with visual impairments, autism, sensory challenges, and other disabilities

  • Behavior interventions

  • Inclusion supports

  • Inner child/reparenting support

  • Diversity, equity, inclusion in early childhood

are you early intervention?

Early Intervention typically refers to federally funded programs that provide services for children ages birth to three that have developmental delays and disabilities, as defined by Part C of IDEA.

At Nudge and Cradle, we believe in providing support to children and families as early as possible. Although Nudge and Cradle does provide services through some early intervention programs, we are not a Part C, federally funded early intervention program. We do work with families who receive support from early intervention programs and Nudge and Cradle, and would be happy to talk to you directly if you have more questions or want to be referred.

At Nudge and Cradle, we believe that you should have all of the information and supports necessary to make the best decisions about how to support your child. We know that intervening early is essential to ensuring children develop well and thrive.

any chance you provide services in Spanish?

Yes, I’m so glad you asked! I am a native Spanish speaker, and am very experienced and familiar with working with families and caregivers who speak Spanish and/or are bilingual.

how much does this cost?

Nudge and Cradle services start at $150, depending on length and location of session. During non-pandemic times, we provide services in natural environments, including your home or community settings like a local park or coffee shop, as well as providing consultation online or on the phone as needed.
